Album Covers
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd - The album shows a white light entering a prism. When pure white light goes through a prism, it comes out showing all if the colors in the color spectrum, as illustrated by the rainbow on the other side of the prism in the album. The background behind the prism is very dark and draws a lot of attention to the prism. This album is incredibly successful and is what people think of when they hear “Pink Floyd.”

Under the Iron Sea by Keane - This album really caught my attention. The cover features water a the bottom and on it appear to be swimming horses. A few of these horses are black with red eyes and the others are a blue or greenish color. They represent the front design of ships like pirate ships that would be used for sailing hundreds of years ago. In all, it's a very unique and interesting album cover.

Appetite for Destruction by Guns 'n’ Roses - This is another incredibly famous album cover. It features the band's name at the top in ribbon and the album name at the bottom also in ribbon. The center of the cover features an embellished cross with 5 skull heads on it, one for each member of the band. Each of the skulls is wearing items that are able to distinguish each of the band members, for example, Slash's top hat and glasses as the bottom skull. This is a very unique album cover that does a great job of catching people's attention. The album itself features “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” which is one of the most famous songs of all time, showing that this was definitely a successful album.
